The expansion of social media, and most especially twitter has created a new and powerful way in which citizens within the United States and everywhere around the world interact with each other. This new and wondrous form of interaction has changed the way information is shared, it has impacted person lives, political lives, and hollywood lives, and has also assist in gather information from protests and riots throughout the Middle-East. This 140 character mechanism has changed the face of information sharing, and gathering, and allowed for faster personal contact, and changed the lives of those who use it.
If you are concerned that your neighbor might be tweeting something mean or dangerous about you, have no fear, the Secret Service is here!
The Secret Service has now expanded their “sphere” of influence to the twitter realm as well. On October 23rd, the Secret Service tweeted out to their 44,000 followers that if you are see a tweet from your fellow citizen that might “concern you,” to report it to the them. CNSNEWS reports that;
“To report a tweet that concerns you, call the nearest field office in your state,” the Secret Service tweeted on Oct. 23. The agency then links to a list of contact numbers for Field Offices in each state.
The president has taken credit for killing Osama bin Laden, but has only said he will hold those accountable responsible for the terrorist attack at Benghazi . Someone denied more security at the Benghazi consulate before the attack and someone denied intelligence and military support to the murdered diplomats and former Navy SEALS.
SHARE this powerful video from Women United PAC to spread the word about what happened to our fallen servicemen!
We all remember Obama’s Fast and Furious debacle where he was running guns to Mexican drug cartels and then invoked executive privilege to keep all the documents out of the public’s hands.
What if Obama was at it again, except this time instead of arming Mexican drug cartels, he was arming Syrian rebels?
(Or, more correctly, Islamic jihadists?)
That is exactly what he was doing.
The night Ambassador Stevens was murdered, Stevens was negotiating with the Turkish consul general for a shipment of thousands of Libyan shoulder-fired missiles to Syria, Turkey being the middle man for the nefarious enterprise.
Now we know why Obama literally watched Americans get slaughtered in real time. Now we know why the former SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty at the CIA annex a mile away from the Libyan consulate were ordered to “stand down” and not provide help—an order they eventually ignored to save the lives of twenty people—an order that cost them their lives.
Now we know why Obama and Hillary Clinton concocted a ridiculous story of a protest turned violent due to some obscure anti-Muslim video.
The truth is coming out and is slowly closing around one Barack Hussein Obama.
Given the intensive training they’re put through, the dangerous missions they’re assigned to, and the reputation they have to maintain, it’s no wonder that U.S. Navy SEALs are afforded some of the best military hardware ever designed.
With the range of operations carried out by these special operations teams, including counterterrorism, covert reconnaissance and hostage extraction among other life-threatening functions, the SEALs don’t lack for versatility. If there’s a job to be done, chances are they have the tools for it.
Four senators sent a letter to the White House today, urging President Obama and his advisers to answer the growing list of questions about the 9/11 attack in Benghazi, Libya, which lawmakers have posed in writing to his administration over the last month. Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), and Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.), the authors of the letter, explain to the president:
The American people deserve to know all the facts surrounding the terrorist attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012, that resulted in the murder of four Americans—including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Unfortunately, you and your senior administration officials have not been forthcoming in providing answers to the many questions that have emerged.
On October 9, 2012, we sent a letter to the senior intelligence officials in your administration in an effort to obtain answers to these questions. More than three weeks have passed, and we still have not received a response. To make matters worse, since that original letter, we sent several subsequent letters to you or to your senior administration officials asking a number of questions, and we have failed to receive a single letter in response.
The American people and their representatives in Congress need to understand what you knew about the Benghazi terrorist attack and when you knew it. We also have a right to know what steps you and your administration took—or failed to take—before, during, and after the terrorist attack to protect American lives…. Continued
MARION — Joan Stevens was one of several early voters at the polls on Monday. But when Stevens tried to cast her ballot for president, she noticed a problem.
Upon selecting “Mitt Romney” on the electronic touch screen, Barack Obama’s name lit up.
It took Stevens three tries before her selection was accurately recorded.
“You want to vote for who you want to vote for, and when you can’t it’s irritating,” Stevens said.
Stevens said she alerted Jackie Smith, a board of elections member who was present. Smith declined to comment, but Stevens says she mentioned that the machine had been having problems all day.
Stevens also reported the issue to Sophia Rogers, the director of the board of elections for Marion County.
What is the backlash to Benghazi? Is it just coincidence that 2 commanders General Carter Ham AFRICOM and Admiral Gaouette of the Stennis strike group are being reassigned?
Is it possible that they were attempting to support and protect the Embassy and overrun safe house in Benghazi in the midst of a confirmed terrorist attack?
These are both men of honor. Past Presidents would allow them to take control of the situation and trust them to make the right decisions.
But not Obama. He has his own agenda and it does not include protection of the people he swore to protect.
It is plausible that the General and the Admiral saw Obama’s orders to “Stand Down” as unlawful and proceeded to mount a support / rescue effort.
Obama then went to Panetta who made the call ordering the officers to back off. Possibly threatening them.
Enter General Petraeus, He manned up and mounted a rescue operation of his own. Sending a Marine fast response team to Benghazi to help save lives and fight the terrorists.
Becasue of the delays caused by Obama not just 4 lives were lost.
Rumors are abound that Obama is covering up to true number of State / CIA employees lost in this attack.
But then again I am just a Pirate, just callin em as I see em…
Where is the Benghazi media feeding frenzy?
I don’t think there’s a conspiracy at work. Rather, I think journalists tend to act on their instincts. And, collectively, the mainstream media’s instincts run liberal.
In 2000, a Democratic operative orchestrated an “October surprise” attack on George W. Bush, revealing that 24 years earlier, he’d been arrested for drunken driving. The media went into a feeding frenzy.
“Is all the 24-hour coverage of Bush’s 24-year-old DUI arrest the product of a liberal media almost drunk on the idea of sinking him, or is it a legitimate, indeed unavoidable news story?” asked Howard Kurtz on his CNN show “Reliable Sources.” The consensus among the guests: It wasn’t a legitimate news story. But the media kept going with it.
One could go on and on. In September 2004, former CBS titan Dan Rather gambled his entire career on a story about Bush’s service in the National Guard. His instincts were so powerful, he didn’t thoroughly check the documents he relied on, which were forgeries.
Oh, there have been conservative feeding frenzies: about Barack Obama’s pastor, John Kerry’s embellishments of his war record, etc. But the mainstream media usually tasks itself with debunking and dispelling such “hysteria.”
Last week, Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin reported that sources on the ground in Libya say they pleaded for support during the attack on the Benghazi consulate that led to the deaths of four Americans. They were allegedly told twice to “stand down.” Worse, there are suggestions that significant military resources were available to counterattack, but requests for help were denied.
If true, the White House’s concerted effort to blame the attack on a video crumbles, as do several other fraudulent claims. Yet, last Friday, the president boasted, “The minute I found out what was happening” in Benghazi, he ordered that everything possible be done to protect our personnel. That’s either untrue, or he’s being disobeyed on grave matters.
